1. Who we are

Pakistan Education Academy (PEA) is a private school in Dubai, UAE, operating under the Pakistan Education & Cultural Board (PECB) and regulated by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). We are the data controller for all information processed through pea-ai.vercel.app and our school operations.

2. What we collect

• Student records — name, date of birth, Emirates ID, passport, academic results, attendance, health records (where disclosed by parents), grade level. • Parent records — name, Emirates ID, contact details, relationship to student, emergency contacts. • Staff records — name, qualifications, KHDA teacher licence, police clearance, payroll information. • Website use — anonymous analytics (locale selection, page navigation). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising identifiers. • AI chat — conversations with the Ask PEA assistant are processed but NOT stored with personally identifiable information. Transient logs are used for abuse detection and deleted within 14 days.

3. How we use your information

• Running the school: enrolment, assessment, reporting, safeguarding, communications with parents. • Meeting KHDA and UAE Ministry of Education regulatory reporting obligations. • Health and safety — sharing medical information with authorised medical staff only. • School events, publications, and website (with parental consent for any photographs). • We will never sell your data. Ever.

4. Your rights (UAE Federal Data Protection Law 2021)

You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you or your child. • Correct inaccurate data. • Request deletion (subject to KHDA record-retention requirements — academic records must be held for 7 years post-graduation). • Withdraw consent for marketing or photograph use at any time. • Lodge a complaint with KHDA if you believe we have mishandled your data. 5. Child safety and COPPA-equivalent protections

For students under 13, we collect only the minimum data required for school operations. Children cannot submit personal information through our website without parental consent. AI chat (Ask PEA) is moderated and does not retain conversation history beyond the active session unless a teacher reviews it for educational purposes.
